In irregular intervals, our institute hosts Seminar Lectures (scientific lectures held by ourselves or scientific guests).

The Vienna Conference on Instrumentation, organised by our institute every three years since 1978, is established as one of the world's main detector conferences. The most recent VCI took place in February 2010 as usual in the heart of Vienna.

The next large-scale conferences we are about to organize are Vertex 2011 in June and the TWEPP electronics conference in September 2011. While the latter one will be hosted at the Vienna University of Technology, the Vertex conference will be held at a scenic place near Lake Neusiedl.

For physics teachers we offer Seminars and teaching material.

We thus assist teachers to present modern fundamental research and most recent developments and discoveries in their class.
