Research interests


I focus mainly on low-energetic astroparticle physics, in particular, direct dark matter search and neutrino physics.

As member of the CRESST experiment I focus on the analysis and statistical description of the aquired data. In that context, I am developing new software to cope with a rapidly increasing amount of recorded data. Therefore, I am utilizing modern tools and frameworks as well as different methods for parallelization. In addition, I am also interested in the statistical description of data and the inference of dark-matter parameters from the analyzed data.

Furthermore, I also study the sensitivity of current and future detectors on specific dark matter scenarios as well as the influence of neutrinos as a background source for direct dark matter searches.
