HEPHY-CMS TRIGGER GROUP

Introduction

The trigger group of the Institute for High Energy Physics in Vienna is involved in the design of the L1 trigger system of the CMS experiment at CERN. In particular the group is responsible for the development of the DTBX based Muon Trigger Track Finder, the Global Muon Trigger and the Global Trigger.

The HEPHY Trigger group is working on the following subjects:

• Muon Trigger Track Finder (MTTF)
• Global Muon Trigger (GMT)
• Global Trigger (GT)
